Our qualified chefs cook nutritious meals, every single day.
At Futurepath Childcare, each nursery has its own qualified Chef who prepares freshly purchased ingredients for all our meals.
We have 4 weekly menus tailored to ensure a Healthy balanced wholesome diet for the children in our care working in line with Catherine Walker and the food Trust. Weaning programmes to support babies with their transition to solid food are offered to support parents.
Food allergies are catered for as well as religious preferences, your nursery manager will complete a care plan with you for your child.

Our Head Chef supports the Chefs in their role ensuring all the kitchens produce outstanding delicious meals.
Children in our care receive breakfast daily. Snack is provided during the morning followed by a hot two course meal served as ‘family service’. This supports the children’s social experience of eating with their friends and support staff.
During the afternoon babies have the option of a light snack as they often eat earlier than the older children; this is selected by the staff in the room each day.
Tea provides another hot meal for the under twos, a nice hotpot or Casserole meaning they have full tummies when going home. The older children have a high tea – they enjoy making sandwiches with a lovely selection of fillings or helping themselves to a ploughman’s selection, some days a jacket potato to add toppings to. Again a lovely time for the children to be involved in the preparation of meal times, a simple way to add learning to a daily activity opening conversation about the foods we are eating.
